Sleeping up to 12 (+4 with pull‑out beds) across six bedrooms, it suits a range of group sizes. Seven elegant reception rooms—including a dining room, library, billiard room and games room—offer generous space to gather or unwind, blending traditional charm with modern comfort for a relaxed yet impressive stay.
Please note that minimum stay is 2 nights (except for Christmas and New Year 2026 when arrival is Wednesday with a minimum stay of 7 nights.)

Directions
From North or South via A1(M)
From the A1(M), take Exit 62 (Durham/Sunderland) and follow the A690 toward Durham City. Continue onto the A691 heading northwest toward Lanchester/Consett. Stay on the A691 (Durham Road). The entrance to Burnhopeside Hall is located 1 mile before you reach the village of Lanchester, on the left if you are heading away from Durham. Look for lamps along the roadside and and a sign for 'Doggieland' where you turn in. Signs for Burnhopeside Hall will direct you down the correct driveway.
